I could try to capture the 1st Ignition with one of these two devices from Buenos Aires, Argentina

a) Telescope with Meade LPI Imager. (Still Images). Harder to track but no video
b) Yukon Digital Ranger 5x (Night Vision). Easier to track no comparable magnification.

Which one do you recomend

I believe telescope is not a good choice. The satellite is very fast and any error of pointing will lost it.
I´m in São Paulo e i will use a old JVC in night mode on top of a Meade mount, but the weather forecast is no good.

Regerio, hope you have a luck and a good observation. Here in BA things doesnt look good. The observation spot has been covered by a big cloud that i dont expect that will move awat.

Spacecraft is practically on the nominal orbit after separation from Zenit launcher!
